Sweetheart,

Come here, I want to hold you
Closer

I pull her, Closer

I’m right here honey
I can’t get any Closer

I pull her Closer anyway
Closer

She tries to pull away
I can’t move Sugar

But I pull her Closer, and Closer
I hold her tighter

She struggles now
Honey, I can’t breathe

And yet, I pull her Closer
I hold her harder

I wrap my legs around her
I hold her Closer

I cannot get enough,
I hold her Closer

Harder

I pull her Closer still,
Devouring her now

Consuming her
I am still not satisfied

You probably wouldn’t guess it — to say that our writing isn’t exactly in the same genre, would be an understatement. But M.N. Straun, is one of my favorite writers on this platform. There’s just something about her voice that pulls me in… I just can’t get enough! She’s such a talented writer, and I’ve got a feeling that she’ll one day be a big star. She already is in my book — Best Seller Lists, lookout!

This is the first time that I’ve attempted one of the Milk & Honey writing prompts, and like I said in the Note above, “I’m not usually a dark writer, but this one came rather easily.” And I am very excited to participate in one of Meg’s prompts!

Writers, the Love Letters Never Sent… community event prompt runs the entire month of February, so there’s still lots of time to make your own submission! I’d love to see what you come up with😈.
