Watching my little sister go through December in anticipation of Santa Clause coming around brought a sense of Christmas Joy that (as you said) was lost when I learned the truth behind Santa. But what you said about Santa and his magic being as real as we imagine it to be is such a great perspective that I have not thought about before! To us, Santa can still be real because the mere thought of him embodies the Christmas that we all know and love. So why not imagine him being still being apart of it?
I'm so happy that I could help bring the magic of Santa back to you Nicholas! Thanks for reading and commenting, and I hope you and your loved ones are having a wonderful holiday!
My parents didn’t make a song or dance about it but I soon saw through it all. However as I was a quiet child I never said anything. I went along with Santa when my children were small but they too weren’t easily deceived.
I maintained that each to their own keeps the peace.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful Festive Period ✨
Peapaw! 😆 that’s such a great take on 🧑🎄 santa! I hope you get to tell them! I was 5 or 6 when I knew—figured out the tooth fairy and had my doubts about Santa—but kept pretending to believe for the sake of adults lol! BUT I also saw a sleigh and reindeer, flying in the sky on Christmas one year around then, too. Didn’t know what to make of it but I definitely believe you!
I do too. I've written each of them a letter for their eighteenth birthday, just in case I ain't around for that. And have a copy of Sophie's World for them at thirteen, among other things.😉
Yup. Just because he's not sliding down non-existent chimneys, doesn't mean he's not still behind the magic of Christmas!🎅✨
